Saturday night we decided to take a gamble on showing up early hoping to get a table…which worked. Krasi, another place we have been unable to get a reservation, was able to seat us at the bar with only a 35 min wait…not to shabby! We were able to sit at the bar, which has really become our favorite place to sit. It is a lot of fun to be able to be able to mingle and chat with the staff and those seated on either side of you.

Dishes here are meant for sharing. We started with rolls and a charcuterie….and wine of course. We shared something called Kavourosalata which had fresh lump crab, avocado and lentils. Next up was my favorite of the whole night, the scallops which were seared to perfection and accompanied by a golden raisin & pine nut rice pilaf. We also shared the lamb osso bucco..and more wine.

Ending the night with Portokalopita which is an orange phyllo cake served with a manouri ice cream…and of course a glass of muscat. Krasi is a rather small restaurant so if you are headed there soon…try a 5pm meal and sit outside on a cool evening. It will be glorious.
